Project Description:
The
PV plant will be constructed with Polycrystalline PV modules and single axis
trackers system to maximize the annual energy yield. The plant will have a
control room for the monitoring and guards, a warehouse area for extra
equipment and a water storage area for cleaning the PV modules.
FRV
Solar Plant is proposed to be connected to the National Electric Power Company
(NEPCO) existing
33/132kV Substation 5km away from the project location which falls within the
KHBTDA.
The
Plant will be connected via 5km of 33kV underground cables for evacuation to
the grid. Interconnection is subject to final Interconnection Agreement to be
received from NEPCO and MEMR
A
surface
hydrological study was also prepared
by
Arabtech Jardaneh which studied storm water in the project
area based on existing topographic condition and conducted a hydrological
calculation for the available catchment areas within the project to provide
cost effective design. The study provided the peak flood estimates that
determine the required design discharge for the cross project drainage
structures. And estimated the flow that crosses the project in order to convey
these flows safely across the project since the hydraulic design is an
important aspect.
