Renewable Energy/ Environmental Studies
Client: Abengoa Solar, SA.
Project Description:The plant will consist of a solar field formed by 72-cell poly-crystalline silicon photo-voltaic modules mounted over fixed-tilt structures. These modules convert the sunlight into electricity via the photo-voltaic effect. Since the electricity is generated in direct current, inverters are needed to convert it to alternate current. After that, transformers to increase the voltage up to a medium scale are needed, in order to avoid losses during the transportation when energy is exported to the grid.
Service: Site Visits, Outline Regulatory framework, Baseline Data Collection and Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment.
